I painted this piece after one of those quiet walks that left me feeling both small and strong at the same time. The ocean was moody, the sky was on fire with color, and geese were flying low over the waves—it all felt like a message.
The girl with the surfboard represents that moment of pause before facing something big. I’ve had many of those moments myself, especially this year—standing still, listening, gathering strength.
This painting is a piece of my own journey. A reminder that even when everything feels like it’s shifting and swelling around you, there’s beauty and power in standing there anyway—heart open, grounded in the wild.
